Welcome! I’m April, a trained birth and postpartum doula based in Jersey City, NJ.
Having a baby is a transformative and powerful experience. I am in awe that it is both ordinary and extraordinary. As your companion, I bear witness to your truth and strength no matter what your childbearing journey may look like, and offer a calm, uplifting presence throughout our time together. Using both an evidence-informed and holistic approach, I support you in connecting with your body and intuition to prepare physically and emotionally for labor, and offer educational guidance so that you understand your options and have confidence in making decisions that are best for you and your family.
